Set up shortcuts for eConfirm contacts in MS Outlook

A faster way of using Email to SMS in Microsft Outlook is by setting up eConfirm SMS contacts as Microsoft Outlook email contacts. This procedure involves a little knowledge of Microsoft Excel and requires the use of Microsoft Outlooks Import Wizard.

How to set up Email to SMS contact shortcuts in MS Outlook:

This procedure takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Set up or your mobile phone contacts under Manage My Contacts in eConfirm
Export the contacts from eConfirm into a CSV file
Download this Excel Import Template and follow the instructions on the first worksheet of the spreadsheet

Once this is set up you can SMS someone in outlook by simply typing "SMS" followed by the first few letters of their name as shown below:
