Cost Savings Calculator


The traditional way of communicating is by phoning people individually. For sending and receiving straightforward information eConfirm can save your business significant amounts. The eConfirm cost savings calculator can be used to estimate how much in savings can be achieved over the traditional individual phone call approach.

Simply fill out the values in white cells in the calculator on the next page to determine daily, weekly, monthly and annual savings. Here are some pointers on what data needs to be entered.

  • Number of Calls per Working day: This is simply the average number of calls made in a single working day that could instead be performed by eConfirm.
  • Average Time Spent on Phone per Call: This figure accounts for the total average time spent on the phone for each call. This figure needs to take into account calls where the recipient is not reached the first time and needs called again.
  • Employee Labor Cost Per Hour: This is the total dollar cost for the employee making the calls per hour. This is not simply the employees hourly rate. It includes all elements of the employees per hour labor cost amount including super, insurances, office space costs etc…
  • Average Cost of Phone Calls: An average cost considering calls to mobile phones, calls to land lines and calls to answering machines that need to be repeated.
  • eConfirm Confirmation Cost: This is simply the cost per sent message and reply that your current eConfirm pricing plan entitles you to. This will usually be from 10 – 15 cents. See the pricing pages for more information on this.
