Send SMS messages online
Sending SMS messages online with eConfirm is just like sending an email.
Add people to the "To:" list by typing the first few letters of
their name and using autocomplete. Or simply
click on the people or groups you want to add from the contacts list.
Messages can be sent straight away or at a future time.
You can also control whether the messages are sent from your mobile number or the eConfirm
Send SMS directly through email
Send a single SMS by emailing: [MobileNumber]@sms.econfirm.com.au
For example, to send an SMS to 0430488589:
Send bulk SMS messages by emailing: [AddressList]@sms.econfirm.com.au
For example, SMS everyone in the Sales Team:
Set up templates to send common messages faster
Use message templates to set up pre defined messages that can be sent to groups of
people at the click of a button.
Message templates can also be scheduled to recur the message at hourly, daily, weekly
or monthly intervals.
Deal with bulk replies quickly with summary reports
Message replies and status's can be automatically emailed to your registered account or
to the email addresses you specify.
Message replies for bulk messages are emailed in a single report containing
a summary of all messages sent and individual responses received.
View the status of all messages live
The Active Messages page shows the live status of all current messages and allows you to create, edit and delete messages.
Status icons indicate the different message status's which include:
Ready to Send
A message scheduled for a future time
Received by Recipient
Message has been received on the mobile handset
Delivered to Carrier
Message has been queued by the mobile phone carrier. Stays in this state if mobile is off or out of range.
A text message reply has been received. The "Response" column shows the text in the reply.
View past messages
Message history provides a full exportable audit trail of all messages
This audit trail is searchable and sortable by any of the columns shown here such as
send time, status, response, contact and so forth.
Since message reports are emailed to you by default, message history is mainly used as a backup
for old message retrieval.
Manage your messaging contacts
Contacts are stored in a very simple list with the contacts names and mobile numbers listed.
There are two ways to add contacts to the list
Add the contacts manually through the web interface
Import them from a CSV file generated from your mobile phone software or your email client

Create bulk messaging address lists
Address Lists allow you to break your contacts up into the different groups you
want to message.
Address lists are required for using message templates and provide a fast way
of sending large numbers of people adhoc messages.
Address lists can also be used with email to SMS. Simply send an email to
[AddressList]@sms.econfirm.com.au to have an SMS sent to everyone in the list!
